Job Description This role supports the branch manager and manages branch activities in accordance with company directives, leading associates to ensure friendly, helpful service and profitable sales for the branch. The successful candidate will: Generate profitable sales by achieving sales and profit objectives, managing budgets, and making sales forecasts. Analyze sales and financial reports, economic trends, and community needs to identify and respond to market changes while reducing expenses. Create operational plans, prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide clear direction to managers and associates. Maintain optimal branch conditions by effectively presenting merchandise, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing, and establishing branch standards that conform to company guidelines. Implement new branch programs in accordance with company directives, evaluate their effectiveness, monitor inventory, and identify and address stock flow issues. Execute and monitor asset protection and security controls, maintain quality assurance standards, and supervise safety and operational reviews to ensure compliance with company procedures and practices. Proactively anticipate and respond to compliance issues, including control of shrinkage. Act as a branch ambassador, welcoming customers, gathering feedback, and responding to their needs and concerns to create a positive shopping experience. Support branch initiatives to serve the community by participating in community events and developing relationships with key community groups. Lead associates by conducting regular store meetings, communicating operational directives and initiatives, and stimulating engagement, recognition, and rewards for achievements. Demonstrate company values by holding managers and associates accountable, providing honest and timely feedback, and taking corrective action when necessary.
