Dillons Landscape Architecture & Urban Design discipline is looking for a Landscape Planner to join our multidisciplinary team of professionals. You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects with many project managers, while providing clients with a fully integrated and superior customer experience. We are looking to fill this position in our Downtown Toronto, Hamilton, or Kitchener offices. Flexible work hours and hybrid work arrangement options are available. Responsibilities Technical & Project Coordination: Support our Landscape Architecture & Urban Design team on public space projects, urban design, and land development. Contribute to a wide range of project assignments through all phases, including master planning, 2D and 3D visualizations, conceptual design, public consultation, detailed design, and construction administration. Assist in producing high-quality graphics and presentation materials to communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders. Support proposal preparation and report writing. Travel to other Dillon offices may be required. Learning & Development: Commit to self-development and ongoing learning to stay current with industry best practices and innovations in technology. Contribute to Dillon's corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees. Qualifications 1-3 years experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D workflows (Rhino, SketchUp, Lumion); knowledge of LandFX is an asset. Extensive knowledge in plant identification and selection is an asset. Graduate of a recognized Landscape Architecture program from an accredited university or college. Membership or candidacy with the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA) is required. Valid G-class drivers license. Experience: AutoCAD proficiency, hand graphics and strong communication skills are essential. Ability to collaborate with staff, city/government agencies, and other consultants; ability to balance multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency. Project types include public parks and plazas, streetscapes, waterfront development, climate change adaptation, sustainable development, and more.
