Senior Copywriter | Full time, permanent Works onsite in Calgary, AB Mandatory in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday Remote optional days are on Wednesday and Thursday About the Role We are looking for a strategic and creative Senior Copywriter who excels at crafting compelling, high-impact content for B2B SaaS companies. Your work will not only engage and inform but also drive conversions and brand credibility for our clients. As a key member of our team, you'll help shape messaging strategies that elevate digital experiences, improve marketing performance, and support business growth. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical accuracy, and creativity to communicate complex SaaS solutions in a clear, value-driven way. Youll work closely with designers, strategists, and marketers to develop compelling content and brand messaging that resonates with B2B SaaS audiences and supports our clients' goals. What you get to do: Work with mid-market and enterprise B2B SaaS companies to translate business objectives into messaging strategies for their audiences. Distill complex information on SaaS industries, products, and solutions into compelling narratives that align with client objectives. Independently conduct in-depth research, run client workshops, and lead interviews to ensure content accuracy and depth. Write clear, concise, and engaging long-form and short-form copy for websites, blogs, ad campaigns, landing pages, emails, newsletters, and social media that is optimized for SEO and conversions. Create website content strategy, including sitemap development and wireframing. Work closely with designers to ensure copy and design work harmoniously to enhance user experience. Maintain brand voice, tone, and personality for consistency across different platforms and content types. Present your work with clear rationale to guide clients on innovative content solutions that can help elevate their brand. Coach and mentor other copywriters on the team, check, edit, and proofread their work and provide guidance on how they can improve it. You may be a fit for this role if you: 10+ years of copywriting experience, with at least 5 years in B2B SaaS, technology, or related industries. Strong understanding of B2B SaaS audiences and ability to simplify complex concepts into engaging, value-driven messaging. Ability to work in a demanding environment on multiple client projects, while meeting deadlines. Ability to confidently present to clients, providing sound strategic advice and presenting ideas with solid rationale and expertise. Experience crafting content that supports different funnel stages (awareness, consideration, decision). Ability to connect the dots from varying sources such as client intake forms, briefs, research, and interviews into strategic brand messaging, sitemaps, wireframes, and website copy. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Strong understanding of on-page SEO best practices (keyword incorporation, metadata, etc.). Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team, receive and apply feedback effectively. Growth mindset and interest in learning new skills and technologies that help build an efficient copy practice. A degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or a related field is preferred. Success in this role looks like: Strategic content that consistently drives engagement, lead generation, and conversions for clients. Positive client feedback and satisfaction with the messaging strategy and execution. Ability to balance multiple projects while maintaining high-quality output. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to produce outstanding content. Contribution to elevating the agencys copywriting standards and methodologies. Compensation The base salary range for this position will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate. We review compensation annually against external data to stay competitive with similar agency roles in Albertas market.
