Registered Psychologist - Lifemark Health Group, Provincial Mental Health Programs & Services Lifemark is excited about our partnership with Partners in Canadian Veterans Rehabilitation Services (PCVRS), a national contractor for the administration and delivery of medical, psycho-social and vocational rehabilitation services for Veterans Affairs Canada. Your work will make a difference to the lives Canadian Veterans, whose service-related health conditions limits their functioning in civilian life. Benefits Of Employment Wages that are competitive with industry standards Ability to regularly collaborate with a team of skilled psychologists Working within a multidisciplinary team treating complex cases Using evidence-based methods to meet clear treatment objectives (e.g., increasing ADLs, work reintegration, decreasing symptom burden, increasing functional abilities etc.) Utilizing feedback-informed treatment Gaining experience collaborating with key community stakeholders Working with a diverse caseload Opportunities for program development, education, research, leadership and growth Ability to access a generous financial allotment for training and continuing education Access to EAP, health and dental benefits for individuals and families Education and licensure Required: Ph.D. or Masters Degree in Psychology from an accredited university Current registration in good standing with the provincial College of Psychologists competency with adult populations; clinical/counselling (asset: trauma, counselling psychology, health/rehabilitation psychology) Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment Applied Experience Experience with evidence-based trauma-focused therapy is required (i.e., PE, CPT, EMDR). Experience with chronic pain and occupational rehab is an asset. Conducting psychological assessments with adults for treatment planning purposes Providing various evidence-based treatments grounded in cognitive-behavioral approaches Working in interdisciplinary teams and with third party payers is considered an asset Utilizing telehealth/virtual care methods is considered an asset Additional Abilities Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Able to work both autonomously and as part of interdisciplinary teams Efficient with required clinical documentation Able to manage a diverse caseload within dynamic work setting Demonstrated work ethics, integrity, reliability, maturity, and flexibility Preferred (not required): Bilingual - French English We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
