Pay Rate: $24 Job Type: Contract Location: Halifax NS Our client, a top banking institution in Canada, is seeking to hire a Customer Service Professional - Bilingual II for a 6-month contract with potential extension or permanent placement. This role is hybrid, with in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the primary location in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and secondary location in Montreal, Quebec. Typical Day in Role As a Customer Service Specialist, you will handle all aspects of customer service, including answering calls and following up on group insurance files. You will serve internal and external clients with varying levels of complexity, requiring excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills. - Demonstrate passion for customer service and dedication to meeting client needs by providing prompt, accurate responses about products and services. - Manage approximately 50 calls per day in an inbound call centre environment. Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills: Fully bilingual in French and English (read, write, speak) 2-4 years of customer service experience in information centers, retail, or service sectors Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Teams, Outlook, etc.) Soft Skills Strong problem-solving skills Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced, changing environment Continuous learner, eager to discover new applications and stay updated Technical aptitude with excellent research skills and meticulousness Nice-To-Have Skills: Experience with Salesforce Background in Group Benefits Experience in contact centres, insurance, or group benefits Education: High School Diploma required University or College degree is an asset but not mandatory If interested, please send your updated resume in MS Word format to with the subject line 'Customer Service Professional - Bilingual II'.
