We're seeking a talented and results-oriented SEO & Digital Marketer to join our growing team and play a vital role in driving brand awareness, website traffic, and user engagement. Responsibilities Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-volume, relevant keywords for ScholarLink's target audience (academics, researchers, universities). Optimize website content (including blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions) for search engines, ensuring strong on-page SEO practices. Build high-quality backlinks through strategic outreach and content marketing initiatives. Monitor website traffic and rankings using analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs) and recommend ongoing SEO improvements. Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates. Digital Marketing: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and drive user acquisition across various channels (e.g., social media, content marketing, email marketing). Manage ScholarLink's social media presence (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube) by creating engaging content, scheduling posts, and interacting with the academic community. Craft compelling email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, promote ScholarLink's features, and convert users. Analyze the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and make data-driven adjustments to optimize results. Collaborate with the content marketing team to create high-quality blog posts, articles, and other content that attracts and educates our target audience. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing activities and report on progress towards achieving marketing goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in SEO and Digital Marketing. Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building. Proficiency in using SEO and digital marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences. Experience with social media marketing platforms (e.g., Twitter, LinkedIn). Experience with email marketing platforms is a plus. A passion for the academic world and a strong understanding of the research community. A data-driven approach with the ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies. Excellent time management and organizational skills. A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
