Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Financial Controller to join their team on a contract basis. This role is key to driving the operational strategy of the Finance department while ensuring the effective stewardship of financial resources. You will oversee all financial functions, including reporting, audit, budgeting, banking, compliance, and transactional processing. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide leadership, support departmental operations, and play a key role in shaping and executing the Finance operational plan. Provide back-up support to the Director, Finance as required. Manage operational challenges related to staffing, workload, and team performance. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective management of financial resources. Contribute to the development and execution of the organizations strategic plan and Finance operational plan. Provide accurate and timely financial analysis to support decision-making. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, external regulations, and audit requirements. Promote efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the Finance department. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) with a minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Advanced computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting at senior levels. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and innovatively. Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail. High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Demonstrated leadership experience, including supervising staff and working with stakeholders across all levels. Commitment to quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
