About You: Youre a strategic thinker with a passion for precision and a deep understanding of complex accounting standards. As our Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and Policy, youll be the go-to expert for high-risk and intricate accounting transactions, ensuring they align with global regulations and are accurately reflected in Colliers consolidated financial statements. In this role, you will Lead the evaluation of complex accounting transactions and ensure compliance with US GAAP technical standards. Serve as the technical accounting subject matter expert across Colliers, advising on diverse and high-impact financial matters. Coordinate the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure consistent application across global entities. Support the preparation of financial statements and SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to address accounting issues, policy updates, and audit requirements. Develop and deliver clear communications and training on accounting policy changes, emerging standards, and ESG reporting impacts. What Youll Bring: Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA designation is required. Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical accounting, including research and memo preparation. Deep expertise in US GAAP and advanced accounting principles. Proven ability to advise senior leadership on complex accounting issues and policy applications. Strong communication skillswritten, verbal, and presentationwith the ability to engage across all organizational levels. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong relationship-building and project management skills.
