What you can expect to do here Act as the lead Mechanical Engineer or Project Manager on complex projects. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation. Lead a project-specific mechanical design team. Collaborate and coordinate with other engineering disciplines. Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure project success. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact. Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns. Ensure all engineering work meets quality standards and codes, while meeting client expectations. Review and approve technical designs, drawings, and specifications. What youll bring to WSP A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the engineering consulting industry with a focus on the design of mechanical systems for buildings. A valid PEO license. Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards. Demonstrated experience in managing projects, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Proven ability to lead and motivate complex multidisciplinary projects. Experience leading mechanical design teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
