Truck Zone, in partnership with Diamond Truck Centres, has a career opportunity for a driven New Truck Sales & Lease Consultant specializing in Heavy Duty and Medium Duty Trucks to join our vibrant team in Nanaimo. What Youll Do: Drive Sales Success: Actively pursue new customers and build strong relationships with clients, local suppliers, and transportation organizations. Team Collaboration: Support complementary facets of Truck Zones business, including Parts & Services, delivering increased value to our customers. Innovate and Execute: Utilize our advanced, collaborative sales programs to strategize and organize effectively, and work with the Sales Manager to develop impactful marketing strategies and customer events. Expand Opportunities: Collaborate and maintain detailed customer records within Microsoft Dynamic CRM to identify opportunities to increase the sales departments revenues and success. Uphold Integrity: Conduct all interactions with the highest level of integrity and honesty, while delivering value to the marketplace. What Were Looking For: Local Expertise: You bring strong familiarity with Vancouver Island and its communities, along with an understanding of the diverse transportation industry. Community and Industry Involvement: You are actively engaged with the communities we serve and well-connected within the transport industry on Vancouver Island, leveraging these relationships to drive business growth and maintain a strong, diverse presence. Customer-Centric: You have a genuine passion & commitment for putting customers first and can build & maintain strong reciprocal relationships. Self-Starter: You take initiative and are driven to achieve exceptional results. Experienced Professional: You bring 5-10 years of experience in Heavy Duty/Medium Duty truck sales with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals. Excellent Communicator: Your communication and interpersonal skills are top-notch, with strong negotiation abilities. Detail-Oriented: You have meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Tech-Savvy: You are proficient with Microsoft Outlook and CRM systems, using these tools effectively to manage communications, track opportunities, and support customer relationships. Positive Attitude: Your positive, outgoing personality, outlook and adaptability make you a standout TZ Team member. Valid Drivers License: Required for this role, including classes 5 and 3.
