2 months ago Be among the first 25 applicants We are seeking a skilled RDJ Support Analyst to provide production support and technical maintenance for our clients main deposit system. The role involves nightly batch monitoring, incident resolution, technical documentation, and development for system enhancements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in COBOL, PL/SQL, VMS scripting, and a solid understanding of financial systems, especially within banking and deposit accounts. Key Responsibilities Provide production support for the clients deposit system (Depo), including on-call support for nightly batch processing. Troubleshoot and resolve failed batch jobs, application errors, or user inquiries. Support and maintain nightly batch operations using Control-M or similar job scheduler. Perform data extractions and reporting on balances, accounts, and transactions. Analyze enhancement requests, estimate development and testing efforts. Develop system enhancements and ad hoc solutions using COBOL and PL/SQL. Write and maintain technical specifications, system documentation, and run books. Participate in integrated testing across related applications. Manage and update Jira tasks, change requests, and implementation details. Communicate regularly with team leads and stakeholders regarding task progress and system status. Ensure compliance with internal policies and complete mandatory training. Technical Profile Intermediate to advanced COBOL programming experience. Hands-on experience in Open VMS OS and scripting with VMS-DCL. Strong skills in PL/SQL and Oracle database queries. Familiarity with Control-M or equivalent batch job schedulers. Basic to intermediate SQL query development. Proficiency in Linux shell scripting. Experience with change management tools (e.g., SPLC). Ability to support and maintain enterprise-scale production systems. Functional Profile Experience in the banking or financial services domain. Basic knowledge of accounting principles. Understanding of deposit account interest calculation. Familiarity with SWIFT statement processing is an asset. Strong documentation skills for technical and operational deliverables.
