Key Responsibilities: This role will provide YOU with the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR Corporate Affairs career. These responsibilities include some of the following Support the Head of Corporate Affairs (Canada Business Unit) in executing the annual Corporate Affairs strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business priorities. This requires extensive experience in strategic planning and execution. Create and execute a government relations strategy that supports Haleon's goals and shapes health policy at provincial and federal levels. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as commercial, medical, regulatory, and sustainability teams to support coordinated strategy implementation in line with organizational priorities. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as policymakers, healthcare providers, industry groups, and community partners. Regular interaction with Canadian Leadership Team and Global Corporate Affairs colleagues. Trusted advisor to senior leaders on government and stakeholder engagement. Apply deep knowledge of the CPG/Health industryincluding market trends, external landscape, and government/stakeholder perspectivesto guide strategic decisionmaking. Develop and execute content for relevant (social media and earned media) campaigns for the market/BU, including advocacy, and corporate brand campaigns as it relates to GR activities. Your extensive experience in campaign development and execution will be essential. Support leaders with external engagement opportunities such as speaking opportunities and ensure consistent messaging aligned with the companys strategy, values, and government relations activities. Lead initiatives that promote responsible social business, and community engagement. Your role will involve developing and implementing strategies that align with our company's values and goals, while fostering partnerships with stakeholders to drive meaningful change in the local community. Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve communication strategy. Your ability to stay informed and adapt to new trends will be crucial. Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Minimum of 10+ years in government, agency or CPG/healthcare. Experience advising senior executives or leadership teams on public affairs strategy. Demonstrated success in navigating complex regulatory environments. Undergraduate degree/postgraduate certificate or equivalent in communications, public relations, journalism, public policy or related field. Experience in Government & Public Affairs and Policy. Ability to lead crossfunctional initiatives and influence internal stakeholders at all levels. Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate policy shifts and proactively shape the external environment. Strong external Stakeholder/Partner management across government, nonprofit and industry. Selfmotivated and able to work independently. Proficiency in both external and internal communications at regional and local levels. Comfortable in a dynamic environment with shifting demands. Positive, proactive attitude and strong team player. Excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills in English. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Proven track record of influencing health policy at the federal and/or provincial level. Agency experience preferred. Experience working with or within federal/provincial health ministries or regulatory bodies Experience in a senior advisory role within government, agency, or corporate affairs French speaking.
