Benefits & Perks Immediate ongoing temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk position Onsite role in Winnipeg Full time contract hours, with the potential to extend Responsibilities Process accounts receivable invoices and post payments Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities Reconcile AR ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted Generate and send out customer invoices and account statements Follow up with customers via phone and email regarding outstanding balances Maintain accurate financial records and documentation, including creating reports in Excel Assist with month-end closing and reporting related to AR Perform other related administrative or accounting tasks as needed Qualifications Post secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience working in a fast-paced or high-volume AR environment Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable or general accounting role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR procedures Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and v lookups) and ability to workingin multiple accounting systems (experience with SAP, Great plains, Accuro, is an asset) High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Criminal background check is required Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Hospitals and Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
