Applicants must have at least 10 years of professional experience as a fire engineer, with some experience acting as an Expert Witness. Who are we? Ridge Expert Witness Advisory Services (EWAS) is a team of construction experts supporting solicitors in property litigation, including Fire Engineering, Building Surveying, Architectural, Structural, and Services experts. Responsibilities Building inspections, focusing on cladding and internal fire compartmentation, and report writing (training provided). Desktop reviews of information. Attending expert meetings and drafting joint statements. Providing oral and written evidence in court or tribunals, including cross-examination. Chartered or Incorporated Fire Engineer with a strong technical background in construction. Confident decision-maker, aware of limits of knowledge.
