About The Role Assist in Canadian and US corporate and partnership tax filings Generate and update tax project tracking reports. Organize and document tax related files and preparation of supporting documents. Prepare and maintain government remittances/filings, such as GST, EHT and payroll Assist in tax research and revise memos and reports Maintain online tax portals and liaise with Canadian and US tax authorities on tax administrative matters. Skills And Requirements 3-4 years' public accounting experience inclusive of minimum 1-2 years' tax experience, or equivalent financial industry tax experience. Proficient use of Excel, Microsoft Office Word, Power Point Professional and clear communication skills; verbal and written. Problem-solving skills and agility Attention to detail, ability to organize, prioritize, and balance multiple priorities. Working knowledge in accounting software an asset, such as Microsoft Dynamic GP, SAP BYD, QuickBooks.
