Alstom, part of the ONxpress consortium, is transforming mobility in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA) through the On-Corridor Works project, which includes electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications, digital systems, maintenance, and more. The Logistics Manager will develop and implement the project's logistics strategy. The ideal candidate will have: Extensive expertise in site logistics, traffic management, site coordination, material and equipment delivery, and related technical fields. Experience managing teams to deliver integrated logistics solutions on complex projects and programs. Strong technical skills across all project phases, including design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance, preferably in large programs/projects. Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships and providing strategic reports for effective decision-making. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including facilitating meetings/workshops with large groups. Ability to drive and optimize logistics operations supporting installation activities. Experience working with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) subcontractors and contracts. Knowledge of international logistics, including supply chain, freight, customs, duties, import/export. Strong leadership qualities to guide the logistics team. Responsibility for budgets aligned with schedules and project needs for all logistics activities. Mandatory qualifications: A recognized university degree. 7-10 years of leadership experience in logistics. At least 5 years of professional experience in large railway projects or equivalent infrastructure programs. Understanding of Ontario Health and Safety Act requirements. Proven track record in managing logistics programs, including warehousing and transportation management. Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and warehousing processes supporting major projects. Key competencies and skills: Proficiency with industry software supporting logistics, supply chain, and administrative tasks. Ability to make critical decisions based on evidence.
