You drive profit and loss management and future business development including new product development, strategy development, and platform opportunities.**How you will contribute**Working with other internal local & regional stakeholders, you will develop the brand portfolio strategy to enable consumer-centric brand portfolio growth. You will lead a team of a direct report and cross functional partners to develop and execute annual plans. In addition, you will craft long term strategic plans supported by an innovation pipeline to deliver sustained growth across the P&L. Based on your deep consumer insights and brand positioning, you will develop and implement integrated marketing communications and 360-degree campaigns.**What you will bring**A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:* Consumer behavior, preferably in the consumer goods sector in matrix environment* Developing a seamless consumer experience* Experience working with internal sales and external customer teams to bring your plans to life* Managing business objectives beyond brand and budget* Bringing brand strategies & recommendations forward to senior leadership* Analytics and creativitya balance of commercial and strategic acumen* Leading and influencing teams, internally & externally; locally & globally* Communicating effectively, verbally and in writing, and executive presentation skills**More about this role****What you need to know about this position:**In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the future of our Protein & Energy Bar business, working on Canadas top brands such as Clif! As a part of this role, you will have chance to lead the team on a broad scope of projects to build your marketing and leadership skills:* **Brand Strategies**: Develop long term vision and strategies to grow the Clif Bar portfolio anchored in consumer needs by collaborating with key cross functional partners.* **Execution with excellence:** lead our cross-functional team to deliver end to end execution excellence from commercialisation all the way to customer presentation and in-market execution.* **Bring insights and analysis into action:** become the champion of consumer needs! Proactively monitor brand performance along with key competitors across the market to identify growth opportunities, and work with partners to provide recommendations.* **Business acumen**: lead the team to profitable growth by leveraging all levers of the P&L* **Portfolio strategy:** facilitate brand strategy development locally and globally to guide the future of Clif in Canada* **Brand building and In-store activation:** build brand equity of our Clif portfolio in Canada by developing remarkable creative & media working with our agency partners.* **Cross-functional leadership**. Cultivate a growth mindset and strong working relationships with both internal (Sales, R&D, Supply, Revenue Growth Management, Insights & Analytics, Sales planning, E-commerce) and external partners (agencies, packaging designs).* **Innovation and Renovation**: build long term pipeline of consumer first and customer centric innovation (format, flavors, beyond the core) & renovation.
