What youll do A career as a Senior Manager with Doane Grant Thornton will provide you an opportunity to: Work with a team of professionals who assist businesses in specific industry sectors with accounting, audit, regulatory and advisory services Be part of a unique work culture that challenges you to further your professional development and enlarge your career path Be part of a fast growing environment with engaged professionals who are respected in their fields Develop solutions with clients and co-workers through collaborative debate and discussion Engage with clients on a variety of local and national projects Key responsibilities As a Senior Manager in Privately Held Business with Grant Thornton you will have the opportunity to: Provide solutions to clients for accounting matters and collaborate with them on growth in current business and financial conditions Lead and execute client engagements under varying reporting frameworks across different industries and sectors Contribute to new business development by understanding all Doane Grant Thornton services and using your credibility in the field Act as a leader in the business unit, service line, and firm by contributing to the development and execution of the office business plan Maximize engagement profitability by effectively utilizing engagement resources Analyze and review corporate and personal income tax returns, NTRs and reviews Plan and lead teams to ensure client expectations are exceeded Supervise and mentor an accounting team, including the review of files Lead through coaching and performance management, provide ongoing feedback, conduct timely performance reviews, and deliver training to develop team members What we value in applicants If youre a bit like us, youre driven to connect with how others are feeling and thinking. Qualifications Think youve got what it takes to be a Senior Manager?
