We are seeking a Bilingual Engineering Student for our Ottawa District , on a project in Gatineau, QC , within our Canadian Buildings Division , that is available for 4 months from January 2026 April 2026 . Responsibilities Conducts deficiency walks. Coordinates and supervising sub-trade work. Coordinates quality assurance reviews. Takes and coordinates progress photos. Tracks site progress and deficiencies. Verifies site conditions and coordinates with drawings. Coordinates, marks up and updates drawings. Coordinates work specific scope and trades. Conducts trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours, and rates. Inputs and updates deficiency logs. Participates in project meetings. Performs quantity take-offs. Produces as-built drawings. Sets-up and maintains record keeping. Qualifications Working towards a degree or diploma in a civil engineering related field. Bilingualism in English and French is required. A passion for working in a construction environment. Experience with the application of various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting. Self-motivation with a hands-on approach. Prior field construction experience is considered an asset. Completion of the ASP Construction Safety course is considered an asset.
