We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Officer to join the Custody Team, working on global markets settlement operations, which entails repairing instructions with wrong data or format, following settlement process with local custodian agents, and resolving breaks reported from counterparts and local agents. Job Responsibilities Verify trade details against confirmations and system records. Ensure timely and accurate settlement across different markets. Analyze and investigate existing pending issues or breaks across all markets, with extensive knowledge of the global market. Manage incoming queries from counterparts and clients. Release instructions on market by respecting treasury cut-off times. Manage requests received by email from clients promptly. Mitigate risk by implementing partial instructions and placing recalls when necessary. Reconcile cash and security breaks between client books and sub-custody books. Regularly review procedures and provide suggestions for improvements. Provide training to team members and monitor their progress. Geographical area America, Canada Education Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent in Finance or related field Experience level 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial services, specifically within Settlements Required skills Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent in Finance or related field Experience in a global custody or related financial institution 3+ years of experience in Settlements within financial services Securities knowledge (from CSC and/or banking industry experience) Knowledge of SWIFT message types (especially 56X for corporate actions and 54X for settlement) French language skills are a plus Strong multitasking and time management skills Awareness of good ethics and behavior standards Languages General information CACEIS is the asset servicing banking group of Crdit Agricole and Santander, dedicated to asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds, banks, private equity and real estate funds, brokers, and corporate clients.
