Lead the development of a Transportation Systems Quality Management System and maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification. Create QMP and procedures for major projects following contract and ISO standards. Review project management, safety, quality, risk, and communication plans from a rail systems perspective. Monitor quality activities and liaise with clients Quality representatives. Lead project audits, including quality, financial, risk, and KPI analysis. Develop and maintain procedures for Transportation Systems Quality Assurance. Train project teams on QMS, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement. Coordinate resolution of technical issues with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Manage nonconformance reports, change orders, and safety procedures. Review customer complaints and project performance issues. Travel as needed to support projects and client needs. What youll bring to WSP: Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers of Ontario. Quality assurance/control certification. At least 5 years experience in Rail Systems projects using CENELEC and/or AREMA standards. Internal or Lead Auditor certification. Experience in Rail & Transit or similar fields. PMP certification and/or P.Eng license are advantageous. Experience in a consulting engineering environment. Strong knowledge of Rail Systems Quality Assurance and Control principles, testing methods, and documentation. Technical leadership and management skills. Understanding of Rail Systems Engineering concepts and lifecycle phases. Proficiency in problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to handle complex issues and collaborate effectively across management levels. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
