The Opportunity: WSP is currently seeking for a Civil Technologist/Technician for our Land Development & Municipal Engineering group. This position is based in our Winnipeg office and will be responsible to work on municipal projects with a focus on public and private clients involving water and wastewater systems, storm water management, municipal roads and land development. We offer attractive pay, flexible work options, a great corporate culture, comprehensive and employee-focused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform as well as great savings programs, and a clear vision for the future. # WeAre WSP What you can expect to do here: Participate in preliminary and detailed design, as well as drafting of water, sanitary, and drainage systems, roads, grading, and retention ponds Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to support projects from concept through completion Perform design calculations under the supervision of professional engineers Contribute to the preparation of technical reports Assist with the development of construction drawings, specifications, tender documents, cost estimates, and quantity schedules Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines to coordinate design efforts Engage in design reviews and provide input as needed What youll bring to WSP: Diploma in Civil Technology or Civil Engineering Technician from an accredited institution Eligible for registration with CTTAM as a Technologist or Technician 2+ years experience in civil design and drafting Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications Familiarity with local municipal standards and approval processes in Manitoba would be beneficial #J-18808-Ljbffr
