Overview Join to apply for the (CAN) Pharmacy Manager - Temporary role at Walmart Canada. Position Summary: The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for all day-to-day activities affecting the people, operations, and merchandise in their division. The Pharmacy Manager must ensure the Pharmacy operates according to Walmart policy, professional standards, and provincial and federal regulations. What You'll Do Lead the Pharmacy and OTC teams, participate in recruitment and interviewing of candidates, train associates on OBWs/SOPs and Walmart workflow, and ensure execution. Develop, assess, motivate and retain team members. Promote Walmart's brand to team members and customers. Develop collaborative relationships with the Prof Services District Manager, Store Management, and the Store Manager. Operate Pharmacy to achieve established plans and budgets. Manage scheduling, ongoing assessment, and performance reviews. Develop and execute business action plans to meet corporate goals; address deficiencies identified in reports or audits. Maintain accurate inventories in the Pharmacy following OBWs/SOPs (receiving inventory, disposal of expired products); address customer complaints to ensure excellent service. Maintain a proper appearance and clean environment for associates and patients; uphold 6S standards and professional image. cascade communication from the SSC to all Pharmacy associates and OTC. Execute programs assigned by the Prof Services team. Develop relationships with other health care providers within the store (clinics, Vision Centre, community). Ensure Pharmacy is open and operational during posted business hours. Supervise and support the OTC manager in daily duties and responsibilities. Ensure excellent patient experience and assist in locating merchandise on the sales floor. Establish working relationships with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders. Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests; fill prescriptions accurately and safely; counsel patients on pharmaceutical products. Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products and adherence to OBWs/SOPs. Operate pharmacy equipment (register, computer system, etc.). Protect and maintain patient privacy; follow provincial regulations. Ensure patients receive eligible services (medication reviews, injections, etc.) to meet patient needs.
