What you can expect to do here: You are a champion of Health & Safety initiatives, being an ambassador for our Zero Harm safety culture this is always your top priority, as it is ours You stand with us in our promotion of Inclusion & Diversity, so that all of our colleagues feel comfortable bringing their authentic selves to work each day You are leading project-focused teams in the delivery of a range of contaminated sites projects and manage clients projects including project scoping, budget control, planning, development of schedules, and coordination of resources You have excellent interpersonal skills, that you will leverage to empower your colleagues as well as maintaining and developing client relationships You are responsible for preparing quality deliverables, overseeing data collection, compilation, interpretation, and reporting for phased environmental site assessments, remediation, and site monitoring You will mentor and coach intermediate and junior colleagues with respect to their career growth and technical professional development You will be responsible for proposal preparation, including development of work plans, schedules, and cost estimates for senior review What You'll Bring To WSP: A positive and enthusiastic can-do attitude, and a willingness to both learn and share your knowledge Self-motivated, willing to be flexible and nimble, and able to think outside the box A bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or related discipline Professional designation registered in BC such as a PEng, PGeo, PAg, PChem, or an RPBio or able to obtain shortly A minimum of ten years of experience in environmental consulting, and prior experience with contaminated sites and/or mine closure Extensive field and site experience with strong health and safety focus Proficient project management skills including budgeting and scheduling activities Good understanding and application of contaminated sites investigation methods and environmental legislation in BC Clear and demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills A strong work ethic and can work with minimal supervision Clean Drivers Abstract, and are willing to travel on occasion Compensation: Salary range (in British Columbia): $102,100 to $187,200 About Us: WSP is one of the world's leading professional services firms.
