The successful candidate will have a broad remit, utilizing their experience and skills to manage construction activities effectively. Job Description The Site Agent shall: Manage and mentor Site Engineers and Section Engineers. Support the Project Manager in advancing the construction phase. Coordinate with the Project Manager to manage resources. Assist in planning the construction activities. Develop and review work package plans and management plans. Help deliver the project within the agreed programme and budget. Work with the Planning department for accurate programme data. Monitor contractual requirements and ensure compliance. Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships. Coordinate with commercial staff for record keeping. Ensure health and safety procedures are followed. Participate in weekly and monthly site meetings. Prepare daily activity briefings and maintain site diaries. Assist in managing Quality & Environmental plans. Ensure work meets specifications. Assist in preparing project close-out reports. Adhere to Graham IMS standards. Promote a safety culture within the site team. This description provides an overview of the Site Agent role. Specific tasks and objectives will be discussed and agreed upon regularly. Personal Specification Technical Competencies (Essential) Strong work ethic. Experience in a similar role. Strong communication skills. Technical competency, including excellent knowledge of NEC contracts. HNC or higher in Civil Engineering. Desirable Skills Experience with Highway Schemes. Experience managing a site or a section of a larger project. Strong planning skills. CPCS Appointed Person for Lifting trained. Temporary Works Coordinator trained. Proficient in AutoCAD. Health & Safety (Essential) Understanding of current Health & Safety / CDM legislation. SMSTS certification. First Aid at Work certification. Behavioural Competencies (Essential) Effective communication, problem-solving, initiative, teamwork, planning, adaptability, and results orientation.
