Western Mechanical Service Manager WESTERN MECHANICAL SERVICE MANAGER Kelowna, BC, Canada JOB SUMMARY Leitner-Poma Canada, Inc. is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Western Mechanical Service Manager to assist our customers troubleshooting efforts with existing equipment, modifying/upgrading existing installations, and installing mechanical equipment for new projects in Western Canada. This role will manage a team of seasonal, contracted, full-time tradesmen as they perform their duties within the deadline set for the project. This position will also oversee various service operations areas, including fleet maintenance, machines, tools & equipment, ATVs, mechanical parts inventory, etc. This is a full-time, hourly position starting at $40.86 CAD per hour based on relevant experience & certifications. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma/GED/CAEC equivalent. Millwright and/or Ski Lift Mechanics license and/or equivalent experience. Previous experience installing & maintaining fixed grip/detachable lifts, surface lifts, and carpets. Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at heights in excess of 20 feet. Valid drivers license & able to travel domestically & internationally as needed. Demonstrated experience in a management role. Previous experience in the ski industry. Authorized to work in Canada. Proficient in the English language. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in machining and/or welding an asset. Proficient in the French language.
