Job Title: HVAC Technician Location: 396 Cooper St, Ottawa, ON K2P 0G8 Employment Type: full_time We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team and deliver top-quality installation, maintenance, and repair services for our energy-efficient heating, cooling, and water heater systems. In this role, youll work on-site to ensure client systems operate efficiently, reduce energy consumption, and maintain comfort while adhering to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and water heaters. Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal system performance and longevity. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues using professional tools and diagnostic equipment. Ensure all installations and repairs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications. Collaborate with Energy Advisors and installation teams to complete projects efficiently. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations in our system. Educate clients on proper system use, maintenance, and energy-saving practices. Stay informed about HVAC advancements, eco-friendly technologies, and best practices. Respond to emergency service calls promptly and professionally. Adhere to company policies, including safety protocols and customer service standards. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field (required). 2+ years of hands-on experience as an HVAC technician, preferably with energy-efficient systems. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks in various weather conditions. Valid drivers license and clean driving record (required for on-site travel). Certification in HVAC (e.g., EPA 608) or willingness to obtain (an asset).
