Applications Engineer (Inside Technical Sales) - Remote Applications Engineers Location: Remote Position: Full time We are currently looking for Applications Engineers to become X-PERTS on our expanding team in Nisku, Alberta. The successful candidate may reside in Nisku, Edmonton, the surrounding area, or be able to work remotely with the team. WHAT YOU'LL DO Coordinate sales engineering and proposal development activities Ensure accurate and high-quality proposal development Manage priorities to meet client specifications, timelines, and budget Interpret documentation, specifications, and design drawings using technical expertise Develop and maintain estimating tools Liaise effectively with clients, sales team, and suppliers Perform quality checks on estimates versus actual costs for accuracy Oversee project handover from sales to project execution team Coordinate with various disciplines and suppliers for proposal development Ensure design information is controlled and provided to the sales / project team as required Coordinate client communications and meetings. WHAT YOU'LL HAVE B.Sc. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required. 5+ years experience in applications engineering or technical sales within the power generation industry.
