Overview You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business units, to provide cloud security advisory services to financial services clients. This role is based in the Greater Toronto Area and requires a hybrid work model with an expectation to be available to come on-site to client locations in downtown Toronto approximately 3 days per week. Responsibilities Provide strategic guidance on cloud security adoption and transformation. Formulate technical hardening requirements and design cloud security solutions. Develop and implement cloud security strategies that align with business goals and financial regulatory requirements, such as OSFI (Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions). Conduct assessments and develop roadmaps for cloud security migration and modernization. Lead technical discussions with different teams and business segments to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud security solutions. Stay current with emerging cloud security technologies and industry-leading practices. Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud security, including architecture patterns, best practices, and enterprise processes. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in cloud security technologies. Demonstrate technical expertise in areas such as containers, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), networks, identities, SIEM, and modern software development. Qualifications Proven experience as a Cloud Security Architect, Cloud Advisory Consultant, or a similar role, with previous consulting experience. Strong understanding of cloud security industry-leading practices and technologies. Cloud architecture certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect) or security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP) are highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of security best practices and regulatory requirements. Working model Hybrid in-office work with on-site expectations as directed by the team leader; able to be on-site at client locations in downtown Toronto approximately 3 days per week as required.
