Job Description

Position Summary The role of the Account Manager, Paid Search is responsible for client communication and will develop and oversee execution of digital plans and strategies for our clients. They will also operate as an internal resource for digital subjectmatter expertise. Key Responsibilities Operate as key point of contact for agency planning teams and clients. Work with agency teams and clients directly to ensure their paid search efforts are meeting or exceeding clients key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop bestinclass deliverables to clients, from available technology platforms and services. Proven expert in paid media capabilities, able to find bestinclass solutions for the clients and stay uptodate with upcoming tools/tech solutions that would work for their overall media strategy; able to evaluate and integrate new tools independently into our product suite. Sell through innovative solutions and ad formats to test new technology and keep clients businesses moving forward and ahead of the curve. Staying uptodate with new developments in the digital landscape and educate teams and clients as required. Serve as subjectmatter expert to teams internally and externally. Manage and lead a direct report, or a team of employees. Effectively communicate agency goals, manage workloads, provide ongoing performance feedback and support professional development. Interview and participate in hiring decisions if/when required. Respond to RFPs and briefs to assist with strategic campaign planning. Assist Associate Director with developing agency partner process and workflow to ensure a collaborative and efficient working relationship (process, timelines, trafficking documents, budgets). Assist with, and contribute to, strategic planning solutions that will drive clients business results. Compile and present postcampaign results/decks and request for proposals (RFPs) to planners/clients as necessary. Approve contracts in our financial systems, as well as QAing campaigns. Proactively and independently contribute to and/or prepare media POVs. Monitor the goals and KPIs for a portfolio of clients to ensure ontime and complete delivery of campaigns. Ensure all tactical media plan requirements are correctly implemented in digital platforms based on client needs. Effectively manage ongoing client expectations in regard to workback schedule and deadlines. Desired Skills & Experience Professional or educational background in Marketing and/or Advertising. 5 years of experience launching and managing paid search campaigns in an agency environment. Full understanding of Search and Retail craft. Strong understanding of Google Search and Paid Search, with handson experience in launching and managing campaigns. Proven ability to coordinate and communicate proactively with clients on briefs, followups, feedback, and overall relationship management. Eagerness to learn, contribute, and take ownership during the busy OND/Holiday season. Strong capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting SLAs and delivering efficiencies. Ability to develop positive ongoing business relationships with a focus on client service. Professional understanding of trafficking and website tagging processes. Professional understanding of crosschannel planning and strong coordination of digital and offline media efforts. Proficient in data analysis, emerging media and technology. Experience with negotiation and presentation. Professional learning agility, with a passion for continuous development. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Highly developed organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently. Ability to investigate, analyze & solve problems, and clearly communicate results. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Proficiency with Search Ads360, Microsoft Advertising/Bing Ads, Amazon Advertising, Google Data Studio/Looker Studio, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, etc. Strong expertise in Amazon Advertising/Retail Advertising; experience with tools like Skai or other ecommerce platforms is a plus.
