This is a full-time 8-month fixed-term contract. Responsibilities Design and/or perform literature and data evaluation to provide scientific background for clinical study design. Prepare the PK portion of study synopses for clinical studies. Respond to inquiries during the preparation process and review study protocols. Perform/review pharmacokinetic analysis of concentration-time data with up-to-date software such as WinNonlin. Conduct modeling analyses with PK software for PK level prediction or IVIVC. Prepare the pharmacokinetic section of clinical study reports. Interact with and provide input to the Biostatistics Department for data analysis. Review statistical outputs to evaluate study results and study reports. Provide scientific support to other departments in pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and pharmacokinetics. Attend and provide scientific support during meetings with clients or agencies. Lead the Pharmacometrics Department and participate in SOP updates; contribute to departmental practices and maintain study- and report-related templates. Maintain the Pharmacometrics Department databases and keep the team updated with scientific literature and regulatory guidelines. Provide trainings and support to PK associates and PK scientists as needed and as assigned by the manager. Participate in timeline discussions and assign tasks for the team in the absence of the manager. Qualifications Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) or M.Sc. in Clinical Pharmacology, Biopharmaceutics, or related fields. Preferably at least 5 years of experience in clinical trials or the pharmaceutical field. In-depth understanding of PK/PD principles, ADME concepts, and regulatory requirements related to clinical pharmacology and drug development. Knowledge of pharmacometrics and computational skills, with hands-on experience using PK and M&S software (e.g., Phoenix WinNonlin/NLME, NONMEM, S-Plus, SimCly). Familiar with scientific writing and data interpretation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data effectively. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with competing timelines, demonstrating logical thinking, creativity, and independence.
