Job Title Parts Associate - Tucks, Auto, Utility & Equipment Overview CTOS is a heavy equipment and truck service company. The Parts Associate will efficiently manage the procurement and distribution of heavy-duty equipment, diesel engines, and hydraulic component parts for outside sales and internal repairs. This role involves receiving, placing, and filling orders in a timely manner to ensure parts are available for mechanics and service needs. Responsibilities Plan, procure, and distribute heavy-duty equipment parts, diesel engine parts, and hydraulic components for external sales and internal repairs. Receive, place, and fill orders promptly; ensure accurate parts are available for mechanics. Maintain strong organizational and time management skills; assist other departments as needed. Use Bill of Materials (BOM) and create parts lists using Excel; familiarity with warehousing software is preferred. Order and track parts/inventory to minimize delays in repairs; provide written documentation of parts ordered/received as required. Assess part requests for heavy-duty diesel, utility equipment, and hydraulic systems to ensure correct items and quantities are ordered. Coordinate with vendors to order parts; ensure proper parts are ordered and prevent unnecessary expenses. Collaborate with managers and team members on large purchases and reduce costly returns per company procedures. Track incoming/outgoing inventory and keep inventory records in line with company standards. Distribute parts to mechanics and assign equipment within the inventory system; keep computer-based systems up-to-date. Assist with inventory counts and maintain inventory levels to prevent production delays. Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient operation of the work unit. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; parts and service or related experience required. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and inventory software; experience with BOM and parts lists is a plus. Key Traits Extremely detail-oriented and accurate; mechanical aptitude. Adaptable to changing work priorities; able to meet deadlines and set priorities. Mental/Physical Requirements Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and punctual attendance. Willingness to work additional hours as needed; physical capability for lifting and carrying. Good communication and problem-solving skills.
