Design Manager - Health Care & Social Infrastructure Join our team at GHD as a Design Manager - Health Care & Social Infrastructure . We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead design projects in the healthcare and social infrastructure sectors, based out of any of our GTA offices (Waterloo, Toronto, Mississauga, Markham, Whitby). About the Role As part of our growing Health Care and Social Infrastructure practice, you will manage multi-disciplinary teams, oversee project planning and delivery, and ensure design excellence in large-scale projects (>$250M CAPX). Your responsibilities will include budgeting, performance management, project planning, design leadership, workforce planning, organizational capacity building, project reporting, and technical scope development. Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant field. 10+ years of design management experience on large social infrastructure projects, including healthcare facilities. Proficiency in clinical design, healthcare facility planning, and knowledge of hospital regulations, CSA Standards, and accessibility standards. Experience with BIM and integrated project delivery approaches. Experience within the Ontario healthcare planning environment is an asset. Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) are advantageous. Knowledge of scheduling software and cost estimating techniques. Familiarity with project delivery methods like PDB, Alliances, and P3s is preferred. Membership in PEO is an asset.
