Overview Position: Seasonal Ambassadors Hours: 0-39 hours/week Contract: Remote/Seasonal (Contract Role) Seasonal Ambassador Seasonal Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, as well as providing exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. Seasonal Ambassadors cultivate strong team relationships and contribute to overall shop excellence in both sales and operations. On the shop floor, they consistently surpass daily sales goals while creating a fun and inclusive team environment that keeps customers coming back for more. Whether its providing personalized product recommendations or sharing your knowledge, you have the power to create a unique and memorable experience for every shopper. For our Seasonal Ambassadors, its not just about selling soap its about making a positive impact on the world, one bar at a time! Responsibilities Sales and Customer Experience: Driving Sales: Utilize StoreForce dashboard results and feedback to exceed sales goals. Take ownership of results and actively work to grow the stores overall sales. Customer Experience: Consistently deliver a world-class customer experience. Connect with customers, identify needs by listening and asking open-ended questions, demonstrate product benefits, and seek opportunities to make customers day. Building the Brand: Educate customers on brand values including Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging. Articulate these values in-store and through community engagement by hosting events that help bring in more traffic. Inspire others to join in making a positive impact. Product Passion: Expand product knowledge with ongoing learning and mastery of Lush products, ingredients, and benefits to confidently recommend for diverse needs. Team Involvement: Development: Use Lush resources to develop effective sales techniques and product knowledge, support team growth, and increase sales. Take ownership of development, seek feedback, and pursue opportunities to improve. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB): Encourage open communication, listen to team perspectives on DEIB, foster belonging, promote teamwork, and value each employees contributions. Operational Excellence: Time and Attendance: Be punctual, reliable, and present. Participate in teamwork, take breaks when needed, and stay updated with company news. Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the customer experience and drive sales. Stock and Inventory: Follow Visual Merchandising guidelines to adjust product displays based on sales to improve the customer experience. Policies and Procedures: Adhere to opening/closing procedures, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety standards. Qualifications: Required: Excellent customer service skills Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced environment Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred: Experience with consultation-based customer service models Strong problem-solving skills to address day-to-day issues Experience working in a team environment Experience working in skincare or cosmetics Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages Compensation: Toronto Eaton Centre $19.50 CAD per hour Best of luck on your job search.
