Overview Manager, Data Acquisition & Integration (2 Year Contract) Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture. This role supports the Global Finance Strategic alignment with the new all bank strategy and is responsible for overseeing the strategy and execution of data acquisition, integration, and management to support the FP&A modernization program and enterprise-wide implementation of Anaplan. The Manager contributes to the overall success of Global Finance in Canada ensuring specific goals, plans, and initiatives are executed in support of the teams business strategies and objectives. All activities must comply with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. Responsibilities Support the implementation of a comprehensive data acquisition and integration strategy aligned to the FP&A modernization program goals. Collaborate with finance and business partners to ensure requirements are addressed to support model design and related processes. Ensure compliance of the modernization program with enterprise data standards and governance. Manage the collection of financial data from various internal and external sources, ensuring accurate documentation and determination of data requirements. Support the implementation of protocols for data quality and integrity through validation, cleansing and enrichment to ensure high-quality data inputs. Work with local data teams to map and stage data for integration into Anaplan. Create and maintain data mapping documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy. Support the design and management of data integration processes to consolidate data from multiple sources into a unified data warehouse. Manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure seamless data flow. Assist in the development and integration of data to support the generation of actionable insights for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, including scenario analysis and financial modeling. Support the creation and maintenance of interactive dashboards and reports to enable stakeholders to visualize financial data and trends. Understand how the Banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Operate in alignment with Scotiabanks Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, ensuring day-to-day business controls address operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk. Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in data management; FP&A experience is an asset. Developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to gather, understand, and action business requirements. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Ability to build relationships across the Bank and with external vendors. Developed presentation and written communication skills. Excellent knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Whats in it for you?
