Work independently troubleshooting and repairing soft drink dispensing equipment, including vending machines, beverage coolers, and fountain equipment. Demonstrate competency in using and maintaining small appliance tools and specialized testing equipment (electrical meters and refrigeration diagnostic tools). Accurate completion of invoices, settlement sheets and related paperwork via handheld computers or paper processes. Maintain parts and equipment inventory through regular scheduled counts and audits. Maintain accurate records of refrigerant and other controlled goods per provincial regulations. Delivering and installing soft drink dispensing equipment. Must adhere to PBC Home Based Technician Policy when in position of the service vehicle. Qualifications HVAC License required. Grade 12 or equivalent/high school diploma. Ability to work independently. Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude. Demonstrated troubleshooting aptitude. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Required to pass assigned Pepsi Pro Modules during probationary period. A clean Ministry of Transport drivers abstract and CVOR certificates required, in accordance with the companys hiring policy. Able to work evenings and weekends, on-call, when required (bi-weekly). Flexible start times to meet customer needs if required. Strong interpersonal/organizational customer skills. Able to safely move heavy vending/cooling equipment. Ability to operate a handheld computer using Apple/Windows based software. Test results may be utilized to determine the most successful candidate.
