About the Company Our client is a market leader in the manufacturing industry for commercial and industrial building materials; and looking to hire a Global Manager - IT Infrastructure (Cloud) About Opportunity The incumbent should have vision and leadership ability. Be able to coach, guide and mentor the team. There will be a lot of heavy lifting as they are creating a new roadmap for cloud migration. About You Strong hands-on experience and working knowledge with cloud Infrastructure as a Service platforms (IaaS) like AWS or Azure or GCP. (Azure Preferred) Experience with architecture design and implementation of migrating on-premises infrastructure to the cloud Virtualization with VMware should have the vision to migrate away from virtualization and focus on cloud Min. 5 years as manager exp. and Technical exp. - min. 10 years in cloud adoption Must have experience with CaaS (Cloud as a Service) and IaaS (infrastructure as a Service) Building a people succeeding team. This role will also have the pathway to become the Global Director Ability to travel 30% to Europe (Antwerp and France) and to US (new upcoming plant) Nice to Have: Any big 3 cloud certs - AWS, GCP, Azure - Relevant certification in one or more cloud computing disciplines is desirable.
