Our Company Jule is a Toronto-based all-in-one solution provider of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Electric Vehicle Fast Charging (EVFC). Using its patented battery & power/energy management technologies, Jule has been delivering successful projects over a wide range of industries, including community energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure and microgrid development. Our website: Responsibilities Installs electrical equipment and ensures all electrical work complies with national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations. Obtains permits, prepares reports, maintains records, and provides quotes for electrical work. Diagnoses and resolves problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment. Tests electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments. Keeps accurate records of all work performed, including updates to blueprints or electrical schematics to reflect modifications made during installation or repairs. Leads, guides, and/or trains other electricians in applicable procedures and techniques. May perform work of lower-level electricians. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. Reads and interprets blueprints. Provides timely response to emergency situations which may involve urgent repairs or safety hazards. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skills Ensure compliance and regulatory adherence: Stay up-to-date with electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards related to fire alarm systems. Ensure all installations and repairs comply with relevant codes and regulations, maintaining accurate documentation and records. Provide technical expertise and guidance: Serve as a subject matter expert on fire alarm systems, electrical components, and related technologies. Ensure safety and quality standards: Promote and enforce adherence to safety protocols, electrical codes, and industry standards. Maintain companys ESA license. Knowledge of secondary electrical systems including planning additions or modifications on secondary circuits. Ability to use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment to repair, install, replace, and test 1000-volt and below electrical circuits, equipment and appliances. Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to the trade. Ability to diagnose and repair electrical controls, industrial motor control centers, and programmable logic controllers for secondary systems 1000-volt and below. Ability to lead and train staff and/or students. Ability to read commercial electrical blueprints and apply NEC through the full range of commercial and industrial maintenance and construction work. Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures. Ability to install and maintain motors, welding equipment, lighting fixtures, generators, circuit breakers, and transformers as appropriate to the position. Ability to isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical manuals, and specifications. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Valid drivers license and clean driving record. Physical stamina to work in various environments and lift heavy equipment when required. Education/Experience Must be a Master Electrician. 3+ years experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., Canadian Electrical Code). Reading and interpreting drawings. Splicing and connecting wire fixtures and components to form circuits. Testing and troubleshooting circuits to ensure current continuity and voltage, and that systems operate safely. Pulling wire through conduits and through holes in walls and floors. Communicating effectively as a member of a team with all peers including electricians, apprentices, supervisors and other skilled trades. Install lighting fixtures, examine, replace or repair electrical components. Maintain, repair and test switch gears, transformers, regulators, motors, generators and control systems.
