Responsibilities The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for assessment and programming for students with communication challenges. This includes students with language based learning needs and speech concerns. Qualifications Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology Membership in the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia (CSHPBC) Experience working with school-aged population Excellent communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, teachers and other district staff Ability to work independently and collaboratively Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder is an asset Training and experience in the area of Assistive Augmentative Communication Technology is an asset The personnel in this position are accountable to the Director of Instruction - Learning Services. Membership in the New Westminster Teachers' Union as an associated professional is required. Compensation: Current salary range is $62,466.00 to $110,833.00 annually plus comprehensive benefits package.
