Northern Lights Resort & SPA is a family-run retreat located in the picturesque Yukon River Valley, just 20 minutes south of Whitehorse, Yukon. This unique destination provides adventure seekers with access to wilderness parks and a variety of outdoor activities while offering a relaxing environment with amenities such as a wellness spa, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, and outdoor jacuzzi. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Marketing Manager, located in Whitehorse, YT. The Sales Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. Daily tasks include market research, campaign management, customer relationship management, and coordinating with the sales team to meet revenue goals. The role also involves managing social media accounts, creating promotional material, organizing events, and analyzing sales data to inform business strategies. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role at a remote Resort 4* and 5* Forbes Travel Guide rating, preferably in North America, but not exclusively Support the Director of Sales & Marketing in developing business in new markets and maintaining market share Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) Strong Sales, marketing, and hospitality knowledge with good communication and negotiation skills Proficient in written and spoken English; knowledge of Spanish or French is an asset, though not required Maintain relationships with tour operators and local DMCs to generate leads Ability to work in a multicultural and remote environment and support B2B relationships Assist in daily operations and strategic initiatives Experience with resort sales and destination marketing Positive attitude towards teamwork and ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales data and implement effective strategies Proficiency in computing and office software Good interpersonal and leadership skills with creative problem-solving ability Strong organizational and management skills with attention to detail Seniority level, Employment type, and Job function Mid-Senior level Full-time Marketing and Sales Travel Arrangements #J-18808-Ljbffr
