Senior Property Claims Adjuster - Lifestyle - Hybrid Are you passionate about helping people get back to doing what they love after an unexpected event? Aviva Specialty Claims is seeking a Lifestyle Claims Adjuster to handle claims involving cottages, manufactured homes, and watercraft, including total and complex losses. The role offers hybrid work arrangements, combining remote and in-office collaboration. What Youll Do Be the Expert: Review and analyze policies, appraisals, and technical reports to assess claim value and negotiate fair settlements. Own Your Portfolio: Effectively manage an active caseload of claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution in line with Avivas standards, with customer service at the forefront. Deliver Exceptional Service: Create outstanding experiences for customers, turning stressful situations into positive moments. Make Independent Decisions: Operate within your authority, using judgment to resolve claims efficiently. Keep it Organized: Maintain detailed, accurate file records and adhere to all Aviva Specialty Claims protocols. Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with various teams to produce good claims outcomes, participate in projects, bring a growth mindset, and share feedback to help us continuously improve. What Youll Bring Experience: Minimum 3-5+ years of previous claims adjusting experience. Passion: Genuine interest in Lifestyle claimscottage properties or watercraftand a drive to help customers return to what they love. Bonus Points If You Have Progress toward or completion of the Insurance Institute Program (CIP/FCIP). A post-secondary diploma or degree. Provincial Licenses for the Atlantic provinces.
