Overview Our client site in Tiverton will be led by an Engineering Manager who provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the engineering workforce and project delivery. Youll ensure high-quality execution of engineering initiatives, maintain strong client relationships, and align delivery with organizational and client objectives. This includes oversight of on-site personnel at the client site, resolution of complex technical issues, and active engagement in project planning, client escalation, and departmental strategy execution. Youll spend approximately 60% of your time on technical work and 40% on management and leadershipan ideal balance for those who want to remain hands-on while also influencing through leadership. This role will prepare you for a director-level position while allowing you to maintain your technical roots. On-site presence is required at least 3 days a week. Your day-to-day General Responsibilities Take responsibility for the performance and results of personnel at the client site and projects delivered; Solve complex technical and client-related matters; Provide leadership of multi-disciplinary engineering teams; Collaborate with the Alithya sales team to develop business opportunities and drive growth; Contribute to the development and execution of department-level strategy; Communicate with and influence executive leadership on strategic matters. Core Responsibilities Meet periodically with managers to discuss resources, projects, and overall strategy; Act as a first-level escalation for client concerns and support management with recommendations for remediation; Review and prepare engineering design documentation and engineering change packages related to digital systems; Review and contribute to engineering proposals and estimates; Coordinate security clearances and training qualifications of assigned staff. Keys to your success Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, system design engineering, or the equivalent; Professional Engineer designation; Minimum 7 years of experience in the nuclear industry; Minimum 5 years of experience leading technical teams; Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles at nuclear power plants; Demonstrated ability to deliver projects in environments with high safety and quality standards; Ability to respond rapidly to changing demands and transition between diverse projects and work teams; Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
