Responsibilities Assessment Delivery Visit new and existing clients, caregivers and nurses on a regular basis. This role is an active community position that requires regular home visits within the community. This role involves a high level of hands-on care, training and coaching including weekly onsite visits with clients and caregivers and nurses in the field. Travel to clients across Peel and Halton region. Leadership Supervise, support and mentor field caregivers and nurses; audit and provide regulatory compliance for provincial and in-house best practices; visit clients and staff for in-person supervisory visits; staff engagement, coaching and support as required. Training & Development Coordinate and provide training for field caregivers and nurses. Community Care Provide hands-on clinical/nursing care; build client relationships; provide direct client care on an as-needed basis. Administration Dedicated administrative requirements to be met on a weekly basis; this position will require approximately 70% administrative and 30% client-facing responsibilities. Education Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program; current RN registration in good standing with the provincial regulating body. Current CPR certification. Experience At least five years of recent experience with progressive supervisory responsibilities, as a Nursing Supervisor, preferably in a community setting. Strong track record in leading the development and evaluation of training programs; demonstrated ability to handle all aspects of people management and interpret company policies and procedures; experience in business development preferred. Other Attributes And Requirements Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations objectively and consistently; ability to work independently and effectively lead a team; above-average report writing and communication skills with both field and administrative employees; valid drivers license and auto insurance; solid knowledge of community nursing and service delivery, program development, implementation and evaluation. Clear police clearance, vulnerable sector screening and a negative TB test are required. Bayshore may require proof of vaccination against illnesses such as COVID-19, Hepatitis, Seasonal Flu, etc., depending on provincial regulations and position requirements.
