Join to apply for the (CAN) Relief Pharmacist role at Walmart Canada . Position Summary: The Relief Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations. What You'll Do: Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor. Establish and develop strong working relationships with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders. Accept prescriptions and refill requests from Customers, Doctors, or Hospitals. Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely, and counsel patients on pharmaceutical products. Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products. Follow OBWs/SOPs for processes. Operate all pharmacy equipment (register, computer systems, etc.). Protect patient privacy and follow provincial regulations. Provide eligible services such as medication reviews and injections. Travel to various locations as per the Relief program schedule. Build collaborative relationships with other healthcare providers within the store and community. Minimum Qualifications: Age 16 or older Pharmacist License (secondary permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization) Preferred Qualifications: Walmart will accommodate disability-related needs as required by law.
