Electrical Engineering Technologist - Senior Join to apply for the Electrical Engineering Technologist - Senior role at Sunbelt Solomon . Position Overview We have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate and/or Senior Field Services Technologist in Calgary . The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Medium Voltage Energy Isolation and Maintenance, aiming to create superior client experiences through commissioning, repair, and maintenance of primary and secondary power equipment. Key Responsibilities Service Scope: Equipment upgrades, maintenance, testing, and commissioning services for commercial, industrial, and utility clients. Client Development: Developing client relationships, identifying service opportunities, and participating in industry events. Job Preparation & Planning: Ensuring availability of all equipment and materials. Job Execution: Performing on-site work, providing project updates, maintaining communication, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Reporting: Completing and submitting all required documentation and reports. Invoicing: Supporting invoicing processes, including applicable extras. Job Follow-up: Ensuring client follow-up and providing feedback on project execution and employee performance. Leadership: Mentoring junior employees and leading project teams safely and effectively. Safety: Adhering to all safety policies and participating in safety meetings. Minimum Requirements 3+ years' experience as an Electrical Technologist, Field Technician, Power System Electrician, or Electrical Engineer. Hands-on experience with commissioning, testing, or maintaining power delivery equipment. Knowledge of commercial, industrial, and utility environments. Trade or tech school certification required. Electrical Engineering degree, PSE, CET, and NETA certification are assets. Proven leadership in project teams. Valid drivers license, self-management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, problem-solving skills, and flexibility to work shifts and travel.
