Role Mandate Do you have a passion for Quality Assurance (QA) and Regulatory Affairs (RA)? The QA & RA Specialist is responsible for ensuring that Control Brand Products are in conformance with safety, quality, and labelling standards. The role requires collaboration with the Non-Food QA/RA team, cross-functional teams, and vendors to drive compliance and a consistent customer experience. Responsibilities Develops technical label copy, evaluates product, and claims documentation to ensure compliant labelling of products against regulations, guidelines, internal labelling standards and policies. Reviews and approves packaging artwork. Works with the Senior QA and RA Specialists, and Product Management teams to ensure all technical documents & data fields are complete. Develops quality plans and coordinates any necessary testing activities by third-party testing laboratories. Coordinates QA Audit report reviews and customer complaint investigations. Drives continuous improvement initiatives with vendors focused on product safety and quality. Assists in managing customer complaints, including identifying trends and driving resolution and year-over-year sustainable improvement. Interfaces with suppliers/manufacturers on quality, safety, and label compliance issues to ensure corrective and preventative actions. Liaises with internal and external business partners to address all business needs. Supports the Importer of Record initiatives, including the certificate management process. Assists Lead, QA/RA with special projects related to process development, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and other initiatives. Qualifications University education or equivalent in Chemistry, Engineering, Textile or equivalent science discipline. 1-3 years of consumer products quality assurance or product regulatory labeling experience in retail or manufacturing. Thorough knowledge of consumer products and textiles labeling regulations. Outstanding team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills. Strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and detail. Creative problem solver with a strong work ethic. Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple projects effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
