Overview Our client is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Project Engineer for an on-site position located in the Louisville, KY area. Responsibilities Manage projects and customers within the mechanical engineering team, ensuring streamlined operations, delivery, and effectiveness. Oversee procurement for mechanical engineering and material handling. Lead larger projects, communicating between customers and internal teams. Prepare proposals, drawings, layouts, and schematics. Monitor and communicate project schedules, pre-construction, costs, and suppliers. Mentor other engineering team members and assist with development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of engineering experience, including mechanical and project engineering. Knowledge of equipment and vendor selection process. Experience in warehouse design, automation, conveyor systems, or structural/steel design a plus. Knowledge of Autodesk and AutoCAD. Comfortable with 5-10% travel.
