We are hiring for a Casual Speech-Language Pathologist for the Penticton Regional Hospital. Shift times are 08:00-16:00 on a casual as needed basis. About The Position The Speech-Language Pathologist is an autonomous professional who has expertise in typical development and disorders of communication as well as assessment and intervention in these areas. The Speech-Language Pathologist may work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with them for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication. The Speech-Language Pathologist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the department/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research and education. About this location: Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) serves 90,000 residents across the South Okanagan and Similkameen Valley, functioning as a regional facility and secondary referral center. With 158 acute care beds, a 10 bed ICU and 102 extended care beds on site; we offer emergency, trauma, specialty, surgical, and outpatient services, alongside advanced diagnostic capabilities.
