As an Assistant Store Manager , youll support the Store Manager in driving store performance, inspiring your team, and delivering exceptional customer service. What Youll Be Working On Support the Store Manager in daily operations, including sales, merchandising, team leadership, and customer experience. Provide coaching and feedback to team members to help them meet performance goals and grow professionally. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with QE Homes values. Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Lead by example on the sales floor, delivering exceptional service and product knowledge. Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently met and exceeded. Help recruit, train, and onboard new team members. Assist in inventory management and loss prevention initiatives. Step into the Store Manager role in their absence to ensure operational continuity. The Physical Side of the Role Ability to stand for up to 8 hours. Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to shift, push, reach, stretch, twist, bend, pull, or maneuver weight over 50 lbs. to fold, stock, build, or display merchandise. Additionally, you may be required to change beds, including moving a mattress to put on a bed skirt. Comfortable climbing ladders for merchandising and stock. What Will Set You Up for Success 2+ years of retail experience, with at least 12 years in a supervisory role. A strong passion for home dcor, design, and creating beautiful spaces. Ability to coach, motivate, and inspire a diverse team. Clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience using POS systems and working in a fastpaced retail setting.
