The role is under the Senior Quality Manager, who is responsible to maintain quality and conformity in a complex manufacturing facility. What will your daytoday look like? Reporting to the Quality department and working closely with the Halifax manufacturing lines, the Quality Analyst is responsible for the following: Leading the Escape Management process Initiating, facilitating, and leading containment activities, preescape meetings and official escape meetings with Quality Performance, Engineering, Supply Management, Customer Support, and other key stakeholders Initiating and facilitating all RCCAs related to internal and external escapes Leading weekly quality meetings with manufacturing and leadership Working directly with customers to address escapes (Engine Center, Spares, overhaul) Working with and following up directly with Supply Management quality specialists to address quality defects Prioritizing emerging quality situations in manufacturing and ensuring corrective actions are in place Working closely with the continuous improvement team to trend data and identify opportunities for improvement related to SRR and QNLI Managing KPI data related to quality metrics and analyzing trends Providing weekly/monthly updates related to SRR, QNLI, defects and escapes to stakeholders at meetings Takes ownership of and is accountable for multiple other tasks such as dealing with return parts on inspection lots, CRB process, IPT meetings and requests from other departments What do you need to be successful? Degree or Diploma in an engineering discipline, Red Seal machinist, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience 5 years (minimum) experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of CORE (formerly ACE) methods with documented success in problem solving Strong working knowledge of SAP is essential Solid understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (mainly Excel & PowerPoint) CORE Apprentice or bridged to CORE Apprentice by end of year 2023 Demonstrated soft skills and the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and employees as well as external stakeholders to campus 41 Ability to work autonomously; selfmanaged with demonstrated attention to detail and followup Dependable, reliable, and flexible with a proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and daily workload What do we offer?
